History & Vision
Victory Outreach International was founded in 1967 by Sonny and Julie Arguinzoni with a simple yet powerful mission: to reach hurting people in the innercities around the world. What began as a small initiative in the heart of East Los Angeles has grown into a global network of hundreds of churches and ministries. With locations across America and in more than 30 countries — from South Africa to the Netherlands — Victory Outreach has become one of the largest inner-city ministries in the world, helping and supporting people from all walks of life.
Victory Outreach Utrecht is part of this international family of churches, dedicated to the same vision that Sonny and Julie envisioned more than fifty years ago. As a stable family church in the heart of Utrecht, with a global vision, we focus on filling God's Kingdom.
Mission Statement
Calling
Victory Outreach is an international Christian organization, called to the task of evangelism and discipleship among the world's most broken people, with the message, hope, and plan of Jesus Christ. This calling involves: establishing and developing churches, rehabilitation centers, and training centers in strategically located world cities.
Inspiration
Victory Outreach inspires people and awakens a desire to optimally develop their potential, with the ultimate destination: a life of dignity and security.
Cooperation
Victory Outreach collaborates with others who feel called to the same mission to accomplish the task before us.
